On the Double Ninth Festival, according to Chinese traditions, people always enjoy the flowers with the old, climbing to the mountain top to appreciate the great scenery and people often help the old do much housework at home, including in old people’s home.

As aging population increases, in my opinion, we should respect the old more. First, respecting the old means giving them more mental care, especially communicating with them about your everyday life, making them feel satisfied. Besides, caring more about their health is also important. We should know what they can’t eat or when they should do exercise, and if necessary, take them to do more physical checks.

That’s my introduction about the festival and what we should do for the old.
