But I think the risk of online dating can be reduced to the lowest level if we take some cautious measures, such as registering on the legal, credible websites, not revealing too much private information to strangers, meeting cyber-friends in the public places and not eating or drinking anything suspicious when you meet. Therefore, that’s why online dating is becoming more and more popular. Despite its disadvantage which can be overcome easily, it is fashionable, convenient, allowing people to get more chances to find the right person.

In addition, many matchmaker companies have been encouraged to be set up to cater for people’s need for online dating. From the prospective of economy, online dating stimulates a new economic industry, whereas traditional dating cannot.
