The plane tree is a deciduous tree, up to 35 meters high. There are rows of sycamore trees on both sides of our street. They have broad crowns and strong trunks. Leaves are large and can also be clipped into books to make bookmarks. They are truncated or near-cordate at the base. Spherical inflorescences usually have two clusters, which resemble hanging bells. Flowers are about 4 mm long, male flowers have 4-8 stamens and female flowers have 6 segregated carpels. When spring comes, we will see a lot of wool fall from the tree, that is the fruit of the sycamore tree.

梧桐树是落叶乔木，高可达35米。我家两旁的街道就有一排排的梧桐树，它们枝条开展，树冠广阔，树干粗壮。树叶很大，也可以夹进书里做书签，形状呈基部截形或近心形，球形花序通常2个一串，形状似悬挂着的铃。花长约4毫米，雄花有4—8个雄蕊，雌花有6个分离心皮。当春天来临时，我们会看见许多毛絮絮从树上落下来，那就是梧桐树结的果子了。
