低碳”这个词已经成为21世纪的代名词，低碳也是因为现在的人们终于认识到保护环境的重要性，才创造出的这个词。所以我决定，在以后的生活中，我也要处处“低碳”，保护我们生存的家园。

一切从出行开始，我出门尽量少坐出租车，距离短的就步行，距离长的就坐公交车。我发现，一段时间后，我既节省了路费，又锻炼了身体，真可谓两全其美。

接着，就要从节水做起了。我尽量用洗衣水来清洁马桶、拖地……每次喝水，我会记着要喝多少就接多少水，绝不多接，节约饮用水资源。慢慢的，我发现，地拖得越来越干净，连我都能照的出来了。

最后，就是节电了。一到晚上，我们家就灯火通明，每个房间的灯都开着，有时，电视机前没有人，电视依旧开着，浪费了不少电。我告诉爸爸妈妈，离开房间后要随手关灯。不看电视时，记得将电视关闭，并且少用电脑。在白天，能不开灯，就不要开灯。我们一家人都那么做，我相信，我们家的电费一定会少不少的。两个月后，妈妈再去交电费时，发现少了好几度电呢!

我从网上了解到：在北京，人们为了让汽车少排出尾气，有了单双号汽车在不同日期行驶。制订了无车日，也是希望大家可以低碳生活，保护我们赖以生存的家园!
