今天，每当我们看到京张铁路，就一定会想到一个人，那就是詹天佑!

你知道詹天佑么，他是我国杰出的爱国工程师，就是他修筑了从北京到张家口的这一段铁路。记得那时，詹天佑是在外国人的要挟·轻蔑·阻挠下施工的，在施工时，困难重重，而詹天佑却迎难而上，在居庸隧道关山势高，岩层厚，隧道里满是泥浆。八达岭隧道长一千一百多米，是居庸关的三倍。这一个个困难就像拦路虎，但经过了詹天佑的思考，并实施了各种办法，这些困难都迎刃而解了，这是需要何等的毅力呀!

不满四年，京张铁路就全线竣工了。所以，我们不得不承认詹天佑是一位杰出的爱国工程师，我们也要学习他这种不畏艰险的精神。
