暑假英语日记一：学游泳

After morning’s class, we couldn’t help rushing to the cafeteria. It always brought us coolness. The food was so-so, but the home-cooking is much delicious. When we almost finished eating, I suddenly saw a familiar face——our foreign teacher Nick. A girl was sitting beside him. They were talking over lunch. I at once told my friends Sandy and Jenny about it. We were so excited. I slowed my speed of eating to wait for that girl. At the moment, they finished their lunch and walked by us with the smile on their faces. Nick seemed so different from how he looked in the class. I guess that is the power of love. Hope they will enjoy everyday when they get together. So romantic!

I expect that Nick will tell his love story to us.

Kids need constant supervision around water - whether the water is in a bathtub， pool， the sea， or a water park。 Pools， lakes， ponds， and beaches mean summer fun and cool relief from hot weather。 But water also can be dangerous for kids if you don\'t take the proper precautions。 Nearly 1，000 kids die each year by drowning。 And most drownings occur in home swimming pools。

summer can be very hot in southern taiwan where the temperature usually goes up to 32"c or more. because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. also because of this i stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky. actually i like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim.

夏天非常热在台湾南部那里的温度通常就会因为热量是尝试体验上学或做任何其他事情的地方，是不是空调高达32“C以上。也因为这个我留在家里的大部分时间在暑假期间，只偶尔去海边自己跳入清凉的水，以此来保持我的身体少而粘，其实我很喜欢游泳，认为没有什么比一个更清爽游泳。

in the summer vacation that has just ended i went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. this summer vacation however was not spent entirely in seeking fun.

在刚刚结束的暑假，我去游泳了很多次，我和同学，我们都玩得很开心。今年暑假，但是，并没有完全在寻求乐趣度过的。

as a second-year senior student i had to prepare myself for the college entrance examinations that were only a year away. in other words i must find time to study too.

作为一个二年级的一名大四学生，我不得不自己准备高考的只有一年之遥。换句话说，我必须找时间学习了。

so i divided my time between work and play during the summer vacation and derived much benefit from this arrangement.

所以我把我的时间工作和娱乐之间在暑假期间和衍生很多受益于这种安排。
